To get started with Resend, you'll need:

1. Your own domain, [verified with Resend](/guides/get-started-add-a-domain)
2. [A Resend API key](/guides/get-started-create-an-api-key)

- **Transactional emails:** personalized, event-driven communication
- **Marketing campaigns:** bulk email Broadcasts distributed to a contact list
